The creamy neutral tones allow a white wedding gown to stand out beautifully, while the curved staircases and massive architectural elements create layers, movement and dimension in every photograph.
It feels luxurious without trying too hard.

That is something I am always looking for when choosing a bridal portrait location. I don't just want somewhere "pretty." I want a location that complements the bride, the dress and the overall feeling we are trying to create.

Because come on.
One of my favorite things about photographing bridal portraits at the Meyerson Symphony Center is the SCALE of everything.
Those enormous walls and sweeping staircases create the most beautiful opportunity to pull back and let the bride become part of the architecture.
And sometimes the most powerful bridal portrait isn't the closest one.
It is the photograph where you are surrounded by this enormous, gorgeous space and your white gown immediately draws the eye straight to you.
The negative space.
The lines.
The curves.
The symmetry.
All of it creates photographs that feel incredibly intentional and editorial.
Then we can move closer and capture the things you never want to forget—the way your gown fits, your jewelry, your bouquet, your veil, your hair and makeup and all of those tiny details you spent months choosing.

And Then We Threw the Veil
You KNOW we had to.
If you give me a cathedral-length veil and a giant architectural staircase, there is approximately a zero percent chance that veil is staying politely attached to your back the entire session.

And this particular veil moment was EVERYTHING.
Against the warm neutral stone of the Meyerson, that sheer white veil practically floated through the photograph.
It added softness and movement against all those strong architectural lines and transformed an already beautiful bridal portrait into something dramatic.
This is exactly why I encourage my brides to bring the veil to their bridal session—even if they are not planning to wear it during every portrait on the wedding day.
A veil gives us so much to play with.

The fitted silhouette against those sweeping curves was absolute perfection. The clean white fabric looked incredible against the warm stone, and the lace detailing along the back gave us just enough texture when we turned her away from the camera.
